The Writing Day Job

When writers realize–usually in elementary school–that they are going to be writers, they start the personal journey of developing two careers–their writing career and a second career that will be their day job. The day job needs to support their value system and be something that is soldiering for the security of that value system. So, they usually go into something that is directly related to protecting and/or promoting literature and advanced literacy. Writers get called to third and fourth day jobs and careers when more soldiering is necessary to protect the literary world and its output of literature.
