I would like to suggest that New Age business owners use the following labels to describe our properties, when communicating with each other and the public: visitor’s office building, client office building, employee office building, management office building, secure office building (for secret proprietary work like product development), visitor’s residence, personal residence, back-up residence, city apartment/residence, vacation residence, factory, warehouse, shipping department/building, inventory building, storefronts (physical locations for sale of products and services), mail room/building.
Document storage will be in the management office building, unless there is a strong reason to have it offsite, in which case it can be called something like records building. Garages will just be considered structures that are a part of one of the above properties.
