Microbusinesses

I am called to define a ‘Microbusiness’ for the business world and think it is an excellent business model that will be taken up by Millenials and Gen X businesspersons in the US. A Microbusiness is run by a business owner and a handful of employees, focuses on a few products at a high quality level relative to the customer market’s ability to pay, and is consistent and reliable in offering those products to the primary target market. The product and the company are always available to the target market, though they may be more unpredictable in marketing and sales efforts–and in overall availability–to other markets which are not the primary target market. The primary target market will be more or less specified, and more or less restricted, based on the financing that is available to the Microbusiness.
