Another July Holiday

In addition to the other holidays mentioned in earlier posts–and though it may seem strange coming from me as a Saddhu-Style vegan–I am called to suggest that Americans hold a Citizen Soldiering Day on July 20th every year. This is not just a day for reminding the public about its duty to be citizen soldiers when needed, or even just a day to talk about national security, but is a day to talk about how prevention, reliability, and consistency will prevent the need for overwork to secure our nation and will prevent as much actual soldiering as possible, both here and abroad–which is another civic duty not often harped upon.
